Aubrianas was born out of a food allergy, a vision, and loyalty. More loyalty than anything else, “Our word is our bond”. Having walked into a small Italian bistro and realizing there was no appetizer on the menu that was not seafood, we made a special request of the chef, “Make me anything that is not seafood, I want to live”. An exquisite chicken dish was presented. At the end of the meal we asked to meet the chef. A friendship developed and as a result sometime later a promise was made – “If you’d ever like to go out on your own, we’d like to help”. The young talented chef did indeed have a dream to start his own establishment and his vision was Aubrianas. The economy had started spiraling downward, but loyalty trumped that, for after all, “our word is our bond” so we proceeded. It took six long agonizing months from start to open. Heartache, heart break and frustration were our daily diet, but persevere we did and thus Aubrianas was born. Unfortunately tragedy took that young chef from us all too soon, but we were blessed with a awesome Chef, Alexander Succop who became family and stayed with us for almost 4 years.  The time had come for Chef Alex to move on and yet luck was on our side again.  Currently Chef Tyson Amick, formally of Marc’s on Markert, has jumped on board and is working his magic. We look forward to his talent and are excited for all that he has to bring!
